By accessing or using the StepQuests mobile application ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Service Description

StepQuests provides GPS-guided walking tours with interactive content. Our Service includes:

• Location-based tour guidance
• Interactive quizzes and information at points of interest
• Real-time GPS navigation
• Progress tracking and tour history

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

4. Purchases and Payments

4.1 In-App Purchases

• All purchases are processed through Apple App Store
• Prices are displayed before purchase confirmation
• Purchases grant lifetime access to specific tours
• Purchases can be restored on any device with the same Apple ID

4.2 Refunds

Refund requests must be made through Apple's App Store refund process. We are unable to process refunds directly. Visit Apple's website or contact Apple Support for refund assistance.

5. User Conduct

When using our Service, you agree NOT to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the app
• Redistribute or resell tour content
• Use the Service for commercial purposes without permission
• Interfere with other users' experience

6. Intellectual Property

All content in StepQuests, including but not limited to:

• Tour routes and descriptions
• Quiz questions and answers
• Images, graphics, and icons
• App design and user interface

7. Safety and Physical Activity

Walking tours involve physical activity. By using our Service, you acknowledge that:

• You are physically capable of participating in walking tours
• You will follow all traffic laws and safety regulations
• You are responsible for your own safety during tours
• Weather conditions may affect tour safety
• You should not use the app while crossing streets

8. Limitation of Liability

StepQuests is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to physical injuries, lost data, or device damage. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of material changes through the app or by email.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Haarlem, Netherlands.
