How a municipality tour works
You name the streets and the point of the walk. Local history, a neighbourhood, a youth programme, a city-marketing route.
We write stops you can actually stand at. Each one gets a written story and a short quiz in the StepQuests app.
People install the app, unlock the tour, and walk when it suits them. You send a link or a group code.
What we build
StepQuests is a self-guided walking tour in a mobile app. GPS takes them to the next stop. They read there, on their own phone. Most walks take about 90 minutes. Dutch and English if you need both. A private group code if the walk is for one programme. A public listing if you want anyone in the city to find it. We reply with what the streets you named can actually carry. If a corner is a building site, it stays off the route until people can stand there.
Who this is for
City marketing teams who want visitors to stay longer than a photo at the Grote Markt. Recreation staff running a summer programme. Youth workers who need something that works in small groups. A neighbourhood team that wants residents to look at their own blocks with a bit of story attached. Haarlem is where we are based. We also write tours in other Dutch cities when the route is walkable and the facts check out.
What we need from you

A city, a neighbourhood, and who should walk it.

A date window if this is tied to an event. Custom work takes a few weeks after we agree the stops.

Everyone on the walk needs a phone with GPS and a charged battery.

You are outdoors. Rain still happens.
