Get help with Step Quests and make the most of your walking tours
Browse available tours on the home screen, select a tour that interests you, and tap "Start Tour". Make sure you have location permissions enabled for the best navigation experience.
Step Quests uses your location to provide turn-by-turn directions, show your position on the map, and unlock location-specific content when you reach tour markers. Without location access, the interactive features won't work properly.
Premium tours require a one-time purchase through the App Store. Once purchased, you have lifetime access to that tour. Purchases are managed through your Apple ID and can be restored if you reinstall the app.
While the app requires an internet connection to download tour content initially, basic navigation and previously loaded content can work with limited connectivity. For the best experience, we recommend having a stable internet connection.
The app's GPS navigation will guide you back on track. You can also use the Previous/Next buttons to jump between markers, or tap the center location button to see your current position relative to the tour route.
Go to the purchase screen for any premium tour and tap "Restore Purchases". This will restore all tours you've previously purchased with your Apple ID.
Try force-closing and reopening the app. If problems persist, restart your device. Make sure you have the latest version of Step Quests installed from the App Store.
Check Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > Step Quests and ensure it's set to "While Using App"
Ensure you have a stable internet connection. Try switching between WiFi and cellular data.
Verify your Apple ID payment method is valid and you have sufficient funds or credit.
Make sure you're physically close to the marker location (within 50 meters) for content to unlock.
